This is a great knife in the kitchen for chopping, dicing, mincing and slicing, though you have to be careful not to cut into bone as Japanese knifes can chip. The carbon steel makes these knives sharp, sturdy and very easy to sharpen. Made in Japan; hand wash and dry only.

One of the perks is being given products to test. This one comes from Le Creuset and was designed by Raymond Loewy. This cast iron product is so beautiful I don't even want to use it. In fact I think will hang it on the wall or leave it on display on top of the stove.
