With a sale and the store closing I had to buy myself a gift. This is a great knife in the kitchen for chopping, dicing, mincing and slicing, though you have to be careful not to cut into bone as Japanese knifes can chip. The carbon steel makes these knives sharp, sturdy and very easy to sharpen. Made in Japan; hand wash and dry only.
